Thomas Edward Davis, 92 of Charlotte, departed this life on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at his residence.  He was born July 1, 1929 in Belmont NC to the late Mr. & Mrs. Elmo Davis.  Thomas attended the schools of Gaston County.  He worked for years at Ledbetter Roofing Company in Charlotte, NC.  Later he worked for Rike Roofing Company until he retired.

He is preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.

He leave to morn his passing wife of 55 years, Mrs. Carrie Gray Davis.  Son, Michael Tyrone Davis and one daughter Janice Davis.

Left to cherish fond memories of Mr. Davis are his six step children; Dianne G. Harris, Carolyn Gray, (deceased), James A. Gray, Ronald B. Gray and wife Sharon, Cathey Gray, Yulonda J. Gray and Nina Wilson all of Charlotte, NC.  Reginald G. Gray and wife Barbara of Piqua Ohio.  Four nieces, four nephews, four great nieces and four great nephews.  Twenty grand-children, twenty-four great grandchildren.  In addition to his family he leaves fond memories to his friends and his former colleagues.

He will be truly missed by his family and friends as he was known as Pop!
