Tommy Williams, 80 of Charlotte, entered into eternal peace on Sunday, December 11, 2022.  He was born October 30, 1942 in Charlotte, NC to the late Fred M. Williams, Sr. and Margaret J. Williams.  A Charter and faithful member of Simpson Gillespie Methodist Church where he was a Trustee and Usher.  He attended Myers Street Elementary and Second Ward High School graduating in the Class of 1960.  He played Football at Second Ward and Softball for Pearl Street Park.  He then attended Denmark Area Trade School (now known as Denmark Tech) in South Carolina on a Baseball Scholarship.  Tommy worked at CC Dickson many years and where he retired.  He was a faithful member of the Second Ward and West Charlotte Breakfast Men's Club and a Charter Member of the Second Ward High School National Foundation where he served as treasurer.

Tommy leaves to cherish his loving wife of 50 years, Edna R. Williams; Children, LaTonya P. Williams, Clevados J. Taylor, Robert L. Junious (Gina), Robin T. Junious; Nephews, Ronald, Tony and Gerald Williams; 3 sisters-in-laws, Lonnie (John), Esther, Marian; 1 brother-in-law, Lycurgus Oates (Joanne); 8 Grandchildren, 15 Great grands and 1 Great Great grand; Goddaughters, Sandra Braswell and Taheeda Dobie; along with a host of others family and friends.
