Toni Octavia Maddox, 65, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at her home in Charlotte, NC.

Toni Maddox was born on November 28, 1960 in Charlotte, NC to Edna Maddox and the late Bobby T Maddox. Toni went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 16, 2025.

Toni graduated from West Mecklenburg High school. She attended NC A&T University and graduated at UNC -Charlotte with a major in Human Resources and a minor in Gerontology. Toni worked for the State of NC, Aldersgate, Pace of the Southern Piedmont and Cabarrus Rowan Community Health Center where she retired. Toni’s passion was to assist Seniors with health services. When she retired in 2024, she launched Serenity Senior Housing.

Toni was a member of Centrifuge Church where she served faithfully. She loved her church and church family. Toni was known for her smile and warm spirit. She impacted everyone she met in a very sincere and heartfelt way. Her heart’s mission and gift was to help the under-served anyway she could. Toni was an avid movie and game show watcher. Toni’s favorite game show was Wheel of Fortune. Toni loved “Do it Yourself” projects. She was affectionately called the “mechanic” because she would always fix anything that was broken. She was a beautiful shining light that will be missed by all.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories mother Edna Maddox. Beloved pets Sasha and Max (deceased). Sisters Mexshelia Watkins (Norman), Sandra Holland (Henry), Bonnie Maddox and brother Bobby Maddox Jr. Nieces and Nephews: Shanova Maddox, Jaiden Maddox, Shamitria Watkins, Jonque’ Watkins, Sierra Thigpen (Josh), Darius Maddox. Aunts: Willie F Horsely, Lana Kitt, Dorothy Johnson. Uncle Robbie Sturdivant. Host of special cousins and friends.
