Mrs. Vanzenia Boyd Davis, 81 of Charlotte, passed away on Friday February 8, 2019 at her residence. Vanzenia was born April 8, 1937 in Lancaster, SC to the late Theodore Boyd and Idell C. Miller. She graduated from Sterling High School in 1956.  She was united in marriage on September 14, 1956 to Edward Davis, Jr - 62 years of true love.  She was a very humble wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to many near and far.

Vanzenia was a member of H.O. Graham Metropolitan where she served faithfully.  May the work she has done speak for her.

Vanzenia was a hair stylist for many years.  She was also employed with CMS and Davis Upholstery.   She leaves to cherish her Husband, Edward Davis; Daughters, Cynthia Davis, Pamela Wofford (Ronald); Grandsons, Darryl Davis (Joy), Zavier Davis; Seven sister-in-laws; Eight brother-in-laws; and a host of nieces and nephews.  She was known to have a heart for children.  Preceded in death by her Mother, Idell Miller; Father, Theodore Boyd; Daughter, Retenia Davis; Grandson, Travis Davis; Sisters, Margret Rhynes (Willie), Mary Hart; Brother Franklin Miller; and Step Father, Curtis Miller.
