Vena Yearwood-Weekes, affectionately known as "Modsy", was a loving and devoted mother to her children, but also a mother figure and inspiration to her relatives, friends, and all who were blessed to know her due to her overwhelming generosity and kindness that had no limits.

Besides overcoming incredible obstacles and adversities in life, Modsy managed to pave the way for so many others through her strong work ethic, resourcefulness, and tireless generosity.

In paving the way for others, Modsy never showed any regret in giving so freely to others and never expected anything back in return. She gave without hesitation or reservation, maintaining a joyous kind-hearted spirit throughout her life with an infectious smile that never faltered.

What made Modsy special too was her wonderful accepting nature, always greeting people with warm open arms and never pre-judging, but rather accepting others on face value.

In essence, Modsy's entire life on Earth was a living testimony to the heavenly concepts of "unselfish devotion to others in need," and "giving the shirt off one's back" in service to others. Thus, she has left an enduring legacy behind of countless sacrifices and good deeds for both old and young to emulate.

We pray then that God has rewarded Modsy with the greatest of rewards for her exemplary legacy, and that she is enjoying the victory of Paradise and everlasting Joy and Peace.
