Vergia Lee Parker Massey, 76, of Roslindale, MA, passed away in her home on February 7, 2025.  Vergia, the daughter of the late Julia and Dwight Parker, was born June 23, 1948, in Union County, NC.  Vergia joined Piney Grove Baptist Church at an early age.

Vergia relocated to Boston. MA, where she graduated from Jeremiah Burke High School and would go on to work at Gillette for over 25 years.

Vergia joined Southern Baptist Church in Roxbury, MA and was a dedicated member for many years, holding several positions.  She deeply loved her church family.

Vergia was preceded in death by her brothers, John Mozell Parker, Louice Clifford Parker, James David Parker, Walter Lee Parker and Frank Daniel Parker.

Vergia leaves to cherish her memory, her sister Sarah Ann Parker Washington Tucker (Billy), sisters-in-law, Connie Parker and Betty Parker; and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren and sisters-in-love, Cecila Saxton and Marjorie Parker; and best friend, Sammi Banks (Obie) and a host of friends.
