Vernon Cardell Cathcart CHARLOTTE - Vernon Cardell Cathcart, 29, passed on June 5, 2014, at Surburban Hospital in Bethseda, Md. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2014, at 12 noon at Moores Sanctuary A.M.E. Zion Church in Charlotte. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Grier Funeral Service, 115 John McCarroll Avenue, Charlotte (704) 332-7109 is in charge.
