Vincent Eugene Lynch, 77, of Harrisburg, NC, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Levine & Dickson Aldersgate Hospice House in Charlotte, NC.

Vincent Eugene Lynch passed away peacefully at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Charlotte, NC, on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. He was a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Vincent was born in Brevard, NC, on May 10, 1949, to Evon Lynch Kelley and Charles Davis. He attended Rosenwald School and graduated from Brevard High School, where he was an outstanding student-athlete. Vincent excelled in both football and track.

His love for sports continued throughout his life. As an adult, Vincent enjoyed traveling, coaching women’s softball and bowling. His passion for golf led him to form a local golf club with close friends, creating opportunities to compete in many tournaments while enjoying the fellowship and friendships that came with the game.

Vincent dedicated more than 30 years of service to Olin/Ecusta, where he held various positions and was promoted to supervisor. Later in life, he continued his career with Wachovia/Wells Fargo as a Security Supervisor.

Vincent is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 36 years, Gloria; his daughter, Sandreal (Ty) Parker; his granddaughter, Jaida Parker; his sisters, Dru K. Shelby and Kathy Kelley; and a host of extended family and friends who will continue to cherish his memory.

Anyone who had the privilege of meeting Vincent and speaking with him for more than two minutes knew how proud he was of his family. His greatest joy was his granddaughter, Jaida, who was truly the “apple of his eye.” The love and pride he had for his family were evident in everything he did.

Vincent was preceded in death by his parents, Evon Lynch Kelley and Charles Davis; his brother, Reginald Lynch; his sisters, Lorraine Conley and Bonita Kelley; and his beloved aunt, Agnes Wilson.

Vincent leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, friendship, and countless memories that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.
