Virginia Elaine Lowrance, affectionately known as Elaine, was born April 29, 1949, to the late Jack and Emma Lowrance, who preceded her in death. Elaine resided in Charlotte and parted this life to her Heavenly Home on Sundays, June 5, 2022 at Aldersgate Hospice House.

Left to cherish memories are her son, Christopher Hinson and grandson Jaden Hinson of Charlotte. She is survived by three sisters, Juanita Jackson of Charlotte, NC, Jean Ward of York, SC, and Sharon Legette of Greensboro, NC; two brothers, Marvin Lowrance (Virginia) of Whittier, California and John Lowrance of Chatsworth, California; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her very much. She is also survived by a host of cousins and friends.

Elaine graduated from Carver High School in 1968. She worked as a CNA which she loved because she cared for people. Elaine loved arts and crafts and going to the flea market. She was a very special person who loved the Lord, her family and children.
