Mr. Wade Guess, 67 of Matthews, NC, passed away on Saturday April 27, 2019 at Novant Health-Presbyterian. He was born on May 13, 1951 in Charlotte, NC to the late Charles L. Guess and Blandena Davis-Guess.  Wade was educated in Charlotte Mecklenburg schools and graduated from West Charlotte High School.  He was a career truck driver and was employed with Gamble Pallet at the time of his transition.  He was a faithful Deacon in the church who loved God and was always willing to help advance the Kingdom of God in anyway that he could.  Wade's most recent ministry as a Deacon and Care leader was as a member of Christian Faith Center of Charlotte.

Wade met and later married his mate for life more than 21 years ago, Mrs. Jacqueline Little Guess.  The two have traveled many narrow roads together and created an arsenal of pleasant memories.  They raised three daughters: Olivia Pruitt, Aleesha Walden (Terrance) and Shalonda Guess; two sons, Jamal Rice, Avery Rice and poured their love and wisdom into the lives of their grandchildren: London, Kinsley, and Lexington.  Wade truly adored his grandchildren.

Wade is predeceased by his brother Charles Guess.  He is survived by sisters: Delores Harrison, Lena Isaac and Felicia Barnette (Marcellus) all of Charlotte, and a host of nieces and nephews.
