Mr. Wallace David Lavigne, Jr. passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 11, 2022. He was the eldest son of the late Mr. Wallace and Mrs. Bernice Lavigne born August 28, 1948 in Chesterfield County, Pageland, South Carolina.

At an early age, he moved with his parents to Charlotte, North Carolina where he attended school in Mecklenburg County. He was known by family and friends as "Peanut". He was very charming, caring, always smiling, loved and devoted to his family. He was the type of person, if you needed him he was there to contribute to whatever cause he was needed for. Never told you "NO".

Fishing was one of his greatest joys, had an awesome talent in drawing, and loved his dogs (Peedie and Smokey). He was loved by his family and respected by everyone he knew. Peanut will be truly missed by all who knew him.

He leaves to cherish his memories one son Todd Moore of Charlotte, NC; three grandsons; Antione Boderick of Charlotte, NC and Kiaun Moore of Columbia, SC and one great granddaughter; Ariana Boderick of Charlotte, NC, one brother; Russell Lavigne (Charlene) of Charlotte, NC, Aunt; Lena Carrier of Baytown, Texas and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a dear and very special friend Ms. Loretta Ardrey. In addition to his late parents, he was preceded in death by his sister; Mrs. Patricia Reid, grandson LaMario Fewell, great granddaughter Keyonie Boderick.
