Mr. Walter C. McConneyhead, 86, of Charlotte, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 17, 2022. He was born August 22, 1935 to the late James and Rosezella McConneyhead.

Walter McConneyhead served in the United States Airforce for six years. He retired from the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System as a plumber. He loved playing his guitar and reading his bible in the park. He enjoyed watching sports, especially football.

Walter leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Hattie McConneyhead; sons, Carlus McConneyhead (Iris), Ronnie McConneyhead (Demita), Keith Oliver, Eric Oliver (Denise), Alvin McConneyhead; daughter, Karen Hector; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, cousins, family, and friends.
