Mr. Walker Joseph Rogers, Jr. 69, of Charlotte, NC, departed this life on Sunday, June 16, 2024 at CaroMont Regional Center.

Walter Joseph Rogers, Jr, "Sunny," passed away on Sunday,  June 16, 2024.  He was a beloved son and brother who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Walter was born on October 3, 1954, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to Essie Bryant and the late Walter Joseph Rogers, Sr.

Walter is survived by his loving mother, Essie Bryant; his brothers, Kenneth M. Rogers, Anthony Rogers (Angela Davis), Joseph D. Bryant (Jackie Brown), Bernel Berry (Jaime Berry); sister-in-law, Stephany Bryant; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors.

In addition to his father, Walter was preceded in death by his brother, James K. Bryant.

Sunny had a love for music.  He also had a good appetite and loved to eat.
