Wanda Marie Jenkins was born on July 26, 1940 in Alcoa, TN to Anna and Allen Jenkins. On September 2, 1989, she symbolized her personal dedication to God and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Throughout her life, Sister Jenkins found great peace and fulfillment in her relationship with Jehovah God. She also found joy and satisfaction in sharing the things she learned from the Bible with others. Wanda did this faithfully up until her death on February 3, 2020.

She is preceded in death by her parents Anna and Allen, her brother, Willie Ed, and her brother-in-law James Geter. She leaves to mourn her passing her devoted daughter, Lisa Jenkins Harris (Rusty) of Charlotte, NC; and her dear son, Christopher W. Jenkins of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren, Christopher Jenkins Jr, Anaya Jenkins, Liaren Gladfelter (Brian), and Clarissa B. Harris; one sister, Gwendolyn Chelita Geter, of Knoxville, TN; seven nieces and one nephew, and a host of other relatives and friends.
