Miss Wilhelmenia Cofield, 75 of Charlotte, departed this life on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Charlotte Health & Rehabilitation Center.  She was the daughter of the late Mrs. Anna Roseborough Cofield and Mr. Theora Mack Cofield, was born December 26, 1946 in Mecklenburg County.

She was a member of Elm Street A.M.E. Zion Church.  She also attended Second Ward High School and received higher education from Johnson C. Smith University.  She was employed by AT&T for thirty-two years in a supervisory capacity and Catherine's as a sales associate and Catherine's as a sales associate for many years.

Family, coworkers and friends all adored her.  She was very warm hearted and gentle, super caring, thoughtful and loving.  She was talented in baking and cooking as well.  One of her many acts of love, was expressed by creating delicious meals, cakes, cookies, pies, etc...for her family.  She will truly be missed by so many.

She leaves to mourn her loss: her brother Mr. Kennon Cofield, sister Mrs. Claudette C. Smith, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
