Mr. William Covington, Jr. 90 of Charlotte, passed away on August 8, 2016 at his residence.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Simpson-Gillespie United Methodist Church.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.  On Friday, August 12, 2016, there will be a visitation at the church from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
