Mr. William Alexander Huntley,74 of Charlotte, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2020 at Novant Presbyterian Health-Main.  He was the son of the late Alexander Huntley, Sr. and Gladys Ledbetter, was born on February 27, 1945.

He confessed to Christ later in life.  He graduated from J. R. Faison High School and served honorably in the Army from 1966-1968.  He later retired from Charlotte Mecklenburg School System.

He was preceded in death by a brother, James Lewis Huntley, Sr., and a sister, Josphine Allen.

His survivors include his wife, Veta Huntley of Charlotte, NC; 2 sons, and 1 daughter, Maurice A. Huntley Sr. (Audrey) of Charlotte, NC, Christopher Huntley Sr. (Michelle) of Charlotte, NC and Renee Fetherson (Cris) of Charlotte, NC; a loving nephew, Anthony Ledbetter; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 5 sisters-in-laws; 4 brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces and nephews.
