William Regan, 55 of Charlotte, departed this earth on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center. He was born in Lumberton, NC on April 23, 1966, to Wilton Howell and LaFaye Regan.
He was a graduate of Lumberton Senior High School where he played JV and Varsity basketball and ran cross country. After graduation, he moved to Charlotte in 1987 where he held several jobs. His most recent employment for over 15 years was with Daimler Trucks North America. He also obtained his Certification as a HVAC Technician from Omitt Trade School LLC of Charlotte, North Carolina and his Class B Commercial Driver License.
He was easy-going, laid back and best know for his BIG smile. He loved grilling and making BBQ that was enjoyed by his family, friends and co-workers. He was a huge sports fan, especially Sunday night football, and always watched reruns of his favorite show "Sanford and Son". He liked taking vacations and was looking forward to retirement to travel more and spend time with his wife and son.
William was preceded in death by his beloved sister Audrey Regan, his father Wilton Howell, grandparents: John L. Regan, Furman Howell Sr. and Alberta Smith-Howell. Also preceded in death by his aunts: Virgie and Bobbie Jean and uncles: Larry, Perry Stacy, Kenny and Steve.
His fond memories will be cherished by, his wife of 30 years, Regina T. Regan, son Zachaeus Regan, mother LaFaye McMillan (Bill), devoted grandmother Addie (Ma) Regan, stepfather Albert McMillan, sisters: Twanna McMillan, Candace McMillan, Tina Sinclair and Denise Smith; brothers: Deablo McMillan (Keesha) and Derrick McIntyre, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends; special friend: Eric Johnson Sr.
