William Donald Marshall, son of Bessie Marshall of West Charlotte, NC was born on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1956. William departed this life on Wednesday, July 15, 2022, in Charlotte, NC.

William graduated from Harding High School located in Charlotte, NC, Class of 1974. After graduation, Williams joined the U.S. Army. William was a member of Second Calvary Baptist Church located in Charlotte, NC. After returning home from the Army, William married his first love Teresa Marshall.

William is a life member of Solomon Lode #257, Charlotte, NC, Hajji Temple #009, Charlotte, NC. William attained the honors of a 32nd degree Mason. William originally served the St. Paul Lodge faithfully as well as serving as Patron for Unique Chapter #647.

Williams leaves to mourn his memory his lady of love Joan Oglesby of Charlotte, NC, son William Donald Marshall, II, two sisters, two brothers, one grandson, and one granddaughter.
