Mr. Willie Parks, son of the late Mannie and Minnie Parks, was born February 11, 1943, in Baltimore, MD, but a long time resident of Charlotte, NC. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Mannie Parks, Jr., Robert Lee Parks, and Dennis (Pete) Parks.

Willie departed his life on Monday, July 27, 2020, at Mecklenburg Health & Rehabilitation.

He leaves to cherish 6 sisters, Barbara Jones, Lizzie Long (Marshall), Mary Cuthbertson, Lois Ervin, Mozelle Land (Sam), and Lucinda Harris (Larry), all of Charlotte, NC; 2 brothers, David Parks (Sharon), and Jessie Parks both of Charlotte, NC. He leaves an aunt (Lizzie Thompson) and uncle (Willie "Junior" Parks) and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
