Mr. Willie "Biscuit" Young Jr., 87 of Charlotte, passed away on Wednesday July 15, 2020 at Pineville Rehab & Living Center.   He was born July 12, 1933 to the late Ella and Willie Young, Sr.

Willie was better known as Biscuit in the Charlotte community among friends and family.  He was educated in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System; graduating from Second Ward High School.  His rival, West Charlotte High School, ironically is where all his children graduated from.  He worked for Jones Motor Company for many years and retired from Sedgefield Elementary as Head Custodian.  He enjoyed watching old westerns, listening to old school music, eating family meals, and smoking cigars.

He is survived by nine children: Thomas Young (Karen), Bruce Bryan (Wilma), Rev. Shelia Y. Council, Sharon Young, Brian Young (Andreen), Saundra Young Sanders, Selestine Young Adams, William B. Young, and Kenneth B. Young (Clarissa).  He has a 1st cousin, 22 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
