Love is a symbol of eternity and unity, the strength of family.  In due time we shall heal.

Our beloved Andre' C. Boyd, Jr. was born on March 30, 1988 to Jamineka Davis and Andre' Boyd, Sr.  He gained his wings on Wednesday, July 29, 2020.

A.J., as he was affectionately known, loved his family dearly however he was excessively attached to his mother.  From a child to a man, it was something about that bond they shared.  Andre' excelled in all academics graduating with honors from Lake Norman High School.  He was hardworking and dedicated to his family business.  Andre' was the "jack of all trades" and enjoyed hobbies such as jet ski, dirt bikes, horseback riding, playing basketball, and riding motorcycles.  AJ always had visiting family and friends at the top of his agenda.  One of his special visits was Grandpa Collie and his great grandmother Lillie.  He was aa member of New Waves of Joy Church, where he played the drums at a very young age.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Lenora, Uncle Darryl and great-grandparents, Therman and Alice Martin.

AJ leaves great memories to cherish with his lovely mother, Jamineka Davis (Earl) and father, Andre' Boyd, Sr.; his beautiful sisters, Jasmine and Charisma; brothers, Jeremiah, Malachi and Langston; his nephew, Christopher, his two uncles, Ronnie Martin and Michael Davis, Jr; his aunts, April Brittany (Lemar), Barbara (Tevin), Brandy and Letisha (Reginald); his Papa Collie; grandfather, Michael Davis, Sr.; grandmothers, Donna Palmer and Sadie; and a host of cousins, from the Martin, Davis and Walker families who loved him dearly.

AJ's loving spirit, smiling face and laughter will be truly missed but forever remain in our hearts.
